ABIGAIL received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Piano Performance at BIOLA University. She went on to do her graduate work at the University of Roehampton in London where she received her MA in Music Therapy. She has also received MT-BC board certification in both US and UK.

AMANDA is an excellent musician with a heart to use her musical gifts to help others. After completing her BA in Music with a piano concentration at UC Santa Cruz, she competed her Masters degree in Music Education for Music Therapy (MME) and her MT-BC in 2017 shortly after joining The Music Place.

BRENDAN, is passionate about whatever he does. Music Therapy. Teaching. Kids. Performing. Helping people. These are just a few of the things he loves. After completing a Bachelor's of Music in vocal performance, he went on to complete his Masters of Music in Music Therapy and gaining hundreds of hours of clinical experience with clients on the autism spectrum as well as national board certification.

CAROLINE, BM, MT-BC is a dedicated and driven music therapist who strives to positively impact those she has the opportunity to work with. Rooted in a core belief that every individual is immensely valuable, she aims to show her genuine care for each person through the interactions she shares with them. Caroline graduated magna cum laude with from Belmont University in Nashville with a degree in music theory with a vocal emphasis. She continued on to complete her post-graduate music therapy training at St. Mary of-the-Woods College.

Chris: BM, MT-BC
CHRIS, BM, MT-BC, found his passion for music as a child and his love for teaching soon after that. He began learning music playing trumpet and continued on to study guitar, piano, ukulele and voice over the next several years. He began teaching music in high school, taking advantage of community opportunities to work with children of varying abilities and disabilities. He earned his Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy from Loyola University in New Orleans, and subsequently his national Board Certification in Music Therapy.

John: MS, MT-BC
John has worked with those who have special needs since 2007. After studying piano for 8 years, John (MS, MT-BC) discovered the versatility of guitar and never stopped playing it. He expanded his musical horizons again when, after completing a combined undergraduate degree in Music, Music Technology and Jazz guitar, he was inspired by observing music therapists work with children on the autism spectrum. After observing first-hand the power of music therapy, he went on to earn a master's degree in Music therapy.

Lynnelle: MA, Therapy Intern
LYNNELLE received her BM in Music History at SFSU, her MA in Orchestral Conducting from the Lamont School of Music at University of Denver and has performed all over the world. In addition, she has directed her church choir for over 25 years. With a deep passion for serving others, Lynnelle began studying Music Therapy at UOP in pursuit of her MT-BC license. She is currently completing her Music Therapy internship at The Music Place and its non-profit partner, Arts Educators Group.

Joe: MA, MT-BC
"MR. JOE" is a multi-talented, super-educated musician who loves to learn. Starting on the steel lap guitar at the age of 7, Joe found his passion for music and instruments and just never stopped learning. With a dual major in voice and trumpet, he earned his BS and later an MA in music. After serving as a church music director for over 30 years, he was still hungry to learn and decided to broaden his experience yet again, studying Music Therapy. He received his MT-BC in 2017.
