To Giving Your Child a Head Start

Toddler with a look of wonderAt The Music Place we recognize that the first five years of life are an extraordinary time, filled with wonder and exploration. It's in these early years that the path to future educational success is established. And music is an important stepping stone on that path.

That's why we have a passion for the music education of the young child.

For children music is simply fun. Yet your child has her own special way of discovering and acquiring knowledge.

How significant would it be for you to know, as early as three years of age, how your child learns, what her musical sensitivity is, and how her personality affects her learning?

One of the ground-breaking benefits you'll receive when you simply consider The Music Place for your child is a free, personalized assessment of her natural musical aptitude and her learning style. We value your child's uniqueness and are committed to honoring it.

You'll receive... a free, personalized assessment

What does that mean for you and your child? We take the extra care and time to be sure she is assigned to the right class, with the right teacher, in the right setting tailored to her individuality. It's this commitment to meeting her needs that sets The Music Place apart from other music programs.

noteRiveting Classes Keep Your Child   Engaged and Excited

Exciting, fast-paced sessions will keep your child totally engaged and proud of his new-found abilities. Children 12 months and up may enjoy group music learning or vocal or dance performance classes.

If your child is between 12 and 36 months, you'll want to join one of our Family (toddler-parent participation) Classes. These classes are a wonderful opportunity for a special time of bonding with your child in a warm, encouraging environment.

small child at PianoYour preschooler (3-5 years old) will gain a sense of independence by being a part of a small group of children (no more than 8 to a class) where she will be able to receive personal attention and have be honored for her uniqueness.

In progressively older Early Music Awareness or Vocal All Arts classes, children 4 to 7 years explore and identify their musical gifts and instrument inclinations, helping you as parents feel more secure about your child's choices and readiness to move on to the next exciting phase of learning.
