VALERY S.
Valery has been with The Music Place since 2001. In addition to working in the office asThe Music Place Registrar, she teaches Early Music Awareness, All Arts, and transitional beginning piano. She and her husband have six children between the two of them, along with 2 dogs and 3 cats! Much of her experience with children came from just being a mother and an active church member. She has taught younger children at her church for a combined 16½ years and home-schooled her children for eight years. Valery also had a day care for two years. She grew up singing in choir and enjoyed all types of music all through her school years. She loved studying music theory along with her children in their studies. Valery really enjoys working with children and feels she learns as much from them as they do from her. She also enjoys going to amusement parks (her favorite is Disneyland) with her children and scrapbooking in her free time.
