Stephanie's passion for music surprised her! When her dad announced to Stephanie and her brothers that they would all be learning music, she didn't know what to expect. After her brother chose drums (her first choice), dad said that piano was more of a girl's instrumen than drums, so she began her journey into music education on the keyboard. Although her voice had been a strong, primary instrument through her middle school and high school choir years, it wasn't long until she was decided to supplement her piano and vocal learning with every instrument she could. She was hooked!

Continuing her education through private study on piano, drums and then guitar, bass and voice, Stephanie began working with kids in 2004 and teaching music in 2007.

During this time Stephanie also attended Northern Pacific Coast Bible College and developed a heart to help low income families and the community at large through various ministries of outreach and support. A strong guitarist and worship leader, Stephanie serves as the Music Director for her bi-lingual church and continues to train and equip musicians in piano, voice, guitar, bass and drums.

Stephanie is fun, patient and enthusiastic young woman who is also excited about gaining more teaching experience and education at The Music Place. She is currently an intern teacher (and hence her lower sliding tuition rate) at The Music Place and continues her training with master teachers in voice, piano and drums.
