PAT D.
Pat is well versed and experienced in quite a few instruments. He has done performances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the San Diego Symphony, and various recording artists in all genres of music, but he now considers jazz to be his forte. Pat is able to play and enjoys playing almost every genre of music, from show tunes to country! He has many years of teaching experience, and came to us at The Music Place in 2006. One of Pat's gifts is getting along with children and gaining their confidence. Since Pat has found that every student is unique in their approach to learning, he believes an unorthodox approach to teaching is often more fruitful and rewarding for the student. He loves seeing a student smile when the basics of music finally start to come together, and the instrument begins to sing! His main hobby is playing golf, and he loves to spend time with his large family (including a wife, six children, and fourteen grandchildren).
