Lisa has been a beloved member of The Music Place faculty since 2002, leading her two musical sisters to serve here as well. A gifted teacher and inspiring musician, Lisa's gentle yet thorough approach has encouraged dozens of students and families alike. Because of her often full teaching schedule, many families place younger siblings on a wait list to begin instruction with her. She is the eldest of three gifted siblings in a musical Asian-American family that has been part of the leadership of the local Music Teacher's Association for many years. Lisa is a natural-born teacher, serving as an inspiration to many young teachers in training. Although Lisa 's primary instrument is viola, she also teaches violin and piano.

In addition to completing her music education at San Jose State University, Lisa is a skilled graphic artist. She lives in Saratoga and is part of a small church family in the area.
