LILIA B.

Lilia Lilia graduated from music school in Riga, Latvia and gave piano and music lessons to children before moving to the United States. She loves working with children and believes that music can greatly enhance their lives. Other than music and piano, she has also taught math and summer school to children ages 6 to 10. She is very patient and creative, using games and playful activities to teach children and offer a fun environment for learning. Lilia has a husband and two grown sons and a her first grandchild born in 2012.

Her hobbies include singing, dancing and cooking. After having a break from teaching music to be a software engineer for a several years, Lilia is very excited to have returned in 2007 to her love of teaching music at The Music Place.
