LAURAL P.

Laural has loved singing and playing piano since she was 8 years old. Growing up in a very musical family, she was inspired from an early age to use her talents in church, convalescent homes, weddings, and ensembles.

Laural has a beautiful voice and enjoyed performing in various choral groups and musical productions in both high school and college. She majored in Music at Fresno Pacific University until her senior year and graduated with a B.A. in Humanities with a Music emphasis, studying Italian and German arias. As a teacher, she still deeply appreciates the complexity of the classics, but also loves Broadway and contemporary Christian music. Laural has taught private lessons since 1993, and encourages all her students to look for opportunities to share their gifts with others.

Laural and her husband Doug have 2 grown children, and spending time with them always brings laughter and joy to their hearts. Other favorite pastimes include hiking, going to the beach, and finding new walking paths with friends.
