EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Music Place, is always looking for star teachers and enthusiastic employees. Current part-time job openings include:

1.  Voice Teachers with Experience! Can teach voice lessons to kids and adults of all ages Have a minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience Are fun and flexible, and who strive to love their students and families Can use our vocal instruction material for kids

	2. Christian Dance Teachers and  Assistants! For our Soaring Spirit Dance partner, we are looking for Christian dance teachers to teach pre school aged children in a group class environment  We also  need a Christian teacher of intermediate ballet and pointe 1-2 years of teaching experience requred Are fun and flexible, and who strive to love their students and families Syllabus and educational support provided
	3.  Early Music Awareness Teachers who... Love working with pre-school aged children (E.C.E. a plus) Are willing to be trained in our easy-to-use copyrighted curriculum Are fun, flexible and energetic Can sing accurately and read treble staff notation PERFECT FOR MOMS!
4.  Apprentice Teachers Student teachers ages 16-22 who are skilled in dance, voice or instruments, love kids and teachable may apply to join our  apprenticeship training program Minimum 3-5 hours per week availability For details, contact Beth, our Director of Educational Development

5.  In addition, The Music Place is especially in need of teachers who...

• Can teach on Saturdays

• Can teach in Sunnyvale

• Would be interested in teaching small Vocal Ensembles

• Are comfortable teaching a variety of vocal or instrumental styles (pop, classical, musical theater, jazz, etc.)

What is The Music Place/SoaringSpirit Dance?

• The Music Place/Soaring Spirit is a Christian-owned and operated independent music and dance school centered in San Jose, CA, but operating in numerous locations from Morgan Hill to Palo Alto.  Our main office is in the Willow Glen area of San Jose, but we also have other facilities around the South Bay area. Our mission is to to inspire, equip and instruct children and adults with foundational skills in music and performing arts through a positive educational approach which emphasizes the great value of learning as a fun process...to provide ongoing instruction and encouragement in a wholesome loving manner that promotes a lifetime enjoyment of the performing arts.
